FSET RESEARCH CLUB(USTC).

Its objectives shall be scientific, literary and educational in character. The club shall strive for the advancement of the theory and practice of all the fields of engineering and of the allied sciences and the maintenance of a high professional standing among its members and affiliates, all in consonance with the constitution and bylaws of the USTC and with special attention to such aims within the field of interest of the club.

– Application for membership:

Anyone can apply for membership & the application can be submitted only when the applicant is a student of FSET, USTC of any semester. Two copies of passport size photograph, photo copies of SSC & HSC exam certificates & photocopy of birth certificate/NID of the applicant will be required for membership.

Any student of FSET, USTC can apply for membership. Filling up the membership form & then sitting for a simple quiz test, the student then will become an associate member of the club.

Any Associate Member will be promoted to Member if performance of his/her is good as an Associate Member. To promote any Associate Member to a Member, the Associate Member must have to complete his/her 1st academic year or be in 3rd semester or above.

Executive Memmbers will be selected by the Advisory Board. The Executive Members will be active for a period of 12 months & will execute any work assigned to him/her.

The officers of this organization shall be:

  8. Head of Media & Communication

DUTIES

Every Officers Are Responsible For Certain Responsibilities.

  1. liaise with the Club Officers and discuss the progress and/or concerns of the club.
  2. manage the committee, and chair all committee, general, and Annual General Meetings.
  3. coordinate activities within the committee.
  4. ensure that the clubs activities accord with its own constitution.
  5. ensure the planning and budgeting for the future is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the members .
  6. act as a spokesperson for the club.
  7. be a supportive leader for all club members.
  8. plan and coordinate a club
  1. liaise with the Club Officers and discuss the progress and/or concerns of the club.
  2. organize meeting times, dates and book meeting rooms.
  3. prepare and issue agendas, supporting papers and minutes of the previous meeting.
  4. be an editor of the club web-page/website/social media page and frequently communicate to members using this medium.
  5. send adequate notice of the meetings to all club members .
  6. take the minutes of the meetings, and then circulate these minutes to all members .
  7. keep all club records, and maintain registers of members’ names, addresses, and contact details.
  8. respond to general duties as directed
  1. Liaise with the Club Officers in relation to clubs financial operations.
  2. Prepare a budget demonstrating income and expenditure.
  3. Authorize all cash transactions and be accountable for its safe keeping.
  4. Be prepared to present a current financial report to club committee or Club Officers upon request .
  5. Prepare an annual budget report for club funding purposes.
  6. Collect and bank club money (into an established bank account under the club name).
  7. Present a written financial report to all meetings.
  8. Keep all receipts to provide proof of general spending as well as a current list of all financial
  1. Any position will be valid for a period of 12 months.
  2. Any position can be terminated or changed or replaced by the decision of the advisory board.
  3. Any Position holder found in any kind of political or student grouping related disputes, the position will be terminated.
  4. Any Position holder’s position can be terminated if any activity is found against the club norms.
